Wash the cucumbers, dry them and cut them into thin circles.
Mix the cucumbers with 1 h l of salt and leave in a colander for 15 minutes. Then wash the cucumbers with cold water, wring them out with your hands and put them in a bowl.
For the dressing, combine sugar, rice vinegar and soy sauce.
Add the wasabi to the dressing and mix.
Pour the dressing over the prepared cucumbers. Stir.
