cut the onion into thin quarter rings.
If you use an ordinary red onion, then scald it with boiling water, and then abruptly lower it into cold water and throw it into a colander. The onion becomes sweet and remains crisp.
Cut the cucumbers lengthwise into four pieces, then crosswise into thin slices.
Cut the pear into slices of the same size.
And peeled apples.
In a bowl, mix the slices of cucumbers, pears, apples and onions.
