Secret Filling Recipe
There are recipes that it's a pity to share. Really! In the end, every hostess should have her own unique feature. This is the recipe that I didn't want to post for a long time. But now the new year has come, and the new year is the time of gifts.
Servings 6
Cook Time 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 pieces Orange cherry, currant, assorted, etc. 1 stack
- 1 glass Water
- 7 tablespoons Sugar depending on the sweetness of the berries
- 2 tablespoons Potato starch
Instructions
- Any base is suitable for this filling. It can be a yeast, shortbread or biscuit finished product. I used, for example, ground gingerbread.
- Now let's start with the filling. Remove the zest from one orange. Remove the mezdra from the oranges and cut out the middle.
- Grind in a food processor.
- Now pour 1/3 cup of water into! small! bring the pan to a boil.
- In the remaining part of the water, stir the starch. Now the score will go by seconds. We're acting sooo fast.
- As soon as the water boils, pour water with starch in a thin stream with one hand, and mix the second sooo quickly with a whisk so that no lumps form.
- Turn off the gas, quickly pour in the sugar and stir vigorously until the sugar dissolves. At this stage, we get rid of the consistency of the paste.
- Add chopped oranges or berries. You can use frozen berries without pre-defrosting.
- Quickly mix and spread on the cake or use as a filling for the cake.
- If you did everything right, the filling retains its shape and does not spread.
- Bon appetit.
