Squid Stuffed with Mussels, Vegetables and Couscous Recipe
I suggest you try stuffed squid-here merged main dish and garnish! Squid seems to be specially made to be stuffed. And your imagination will tell you what it is. It can be minced meat, fish, vegetables or seafood. My fantasy, thanks to the contest "Grinding maneuvers", suggested such an option. Try it, it turned out very tasty and impressive, and most importantly - my husband liked it!
To prepare the filling. Onions and garlic cut, fry in vegetable oil until soft.
Add the carrots cut into strips, continuing to fry.
Add mussels (you can not defrost), cook for 3-4 minutes until thawed.
Then pour 50 milliliters Martini, evaporate the alcohol.
Add the green peas and mix.
Then salt, pepper, simmer for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, boil the water 200 ml and pour the couscous, mix.
Cover with a lid and leave for 5-7 minutes to swell.
Then add to vegetables, stir.
Add chopped greens, stir and remove from heat. Filling is ready!
Carcasses squid rinse well, dry.
Stuff with stuffing, secure openings with wooden skewers. Then fry in vegetable oil for 30-40 seconds on each side.
Prepare the sauce. In the pan pour Martini, bring to a boil, then pour soy sauce, add coarsely chopped ginger and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes. Then add the sugar and starch diluted in 1 tablespoon of cold water and mix.
Lower squid in sauce, cook on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
