  1. I most like to use multi-grain loaves for this recipe, but you can take others, it's a matter of taste. Prepare the ingredients for the filling: cut the olives into rings; grate the cheese on a fine grater; cut the sweet onion into feathers; cut the tomatoes into slices (I removed the seeds).Tomato sauce should be ready-with salt, sugar, seasonings. You can use the purchased sauce or make it according to your favorite recipe.

  3. Add the onion and sprinkle with cheese. You can put as much cheese as your conscience allows) Carefully transfer the loaves to a baking sheet. From the sauce, they become softer, so you need to work quickly, or collect the sandwiches immediately on the baking sheet.Put the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180°C, and bake the sandwiches for 5-6 minutes. The sauce should warm up and the cheese should melt.

  5. As I wrote above, you can use other types of bread, for example, rye or even Borodino. But keep in mind that Borodino has a bright taste, so the filling should also be expressive. Here are the sandwiches on Borodino loaves.
