Wash the gooseberries. Put it in a frying pan, add 0.5 cups of water. Put it on the fire. Boil. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes and discard the berries on a fine sieve. Wipe the berries. The resulting mass is poured into a saucepan and put on fire.
Measure out the right amount of sugar.
Add sugar to a saucepan with berry puree. Boil. Cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes. Add gelatin. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Pour into molds. Cool at room temperature, and then refrigerate until the mass solidifies. (Preferably overnight).
