All citrus fruits have a rich invigorating aroma and a special taste with a slight sourness. Bright citrus fruits will be an excellent base for a home-made dessert. You can use them to make cupcakes and muffins, souffles and mousses, cakes and sweets. Prepare a delicious grapefruit cake. The flesh of fresh grapefruit fills this dessert with an intense citrus flavor that is simply impossible to resist. To prepare the dessert, take two red grapefruits, wash and dry.

Cut the edges of the pulp with a knife along the diameter of the fruit.
Pull out all the pulp from the inside (be sure to remove the white membrane it is bitter).
Now you need to prepare the grapefruit pulp for the layer: peel the third grapefruit.
Also peel the grapefruit from the bitter white skin and cut it into thin slices (according to the size of the top of the grapefruit).
Peel the remaining grapefruit pulp from the membranes and break it into small pieces with your hands. add the peeled pulp from two grapefruits (which we prepared for the base of the cakes).
Now you need to prepare sponge cakes for the layer of cakes ( I took two ready-made cakes with a diameter of 20 cm), round shape of each cake cut out two cakes suitable for the size of your grapefruit.
It turned out 4 cakes: two large diameter = 8 cm and two smaller diameter cakes = 6 cm.
Then add the condensed milk to the cold cream and beat with a mixer until thick peaks form.
Transfer the cream to a pastry bag.
Using a pastry bag, spread the cream inside the grapefruit.
Put a large-diameter sponge cake on the cream.
Cover the sponge cake with cream, and spread the pieces of grapefruit pulp on top.
Put the cream on a layer of grapefruit pulp and cover the top with a smaller diameter cake (it looks large, but when you put it inside, the size will be perfect).
And then spread the last layer of cream.
Take a sliced grapefruit slice and cover with a layer of cream. Put the cakes in the refrigerator for one hour.
Then remove the cakes from the refrigerator. Brush the top (grapefruit slice) with liquid honey. Honey goes well with grapefruit to taste, and also gives Shine.
Sprinkle the edges of the cakes with powdered sugar.
Decorate the middle of the cakes with mint leaves.
