Galette made with Lean Dough Recipe
Insanely delicious biscuits made of lean dough, in my case - with apple and onion filling! This biscuit has a lot of advantages: a minimal set of products, the absence of butter and eggs, it is very pleasant and convenient to work with the dough, and of course - an incredible number of filling options!

Ingredients
- 2 glasses Flour wheat / Flour
- 0,5 glass Vegetable oil
- 0,5 glass Water hot
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 pieces Onion
- 2 pieces Apples
- 100 gram Hard cheese
- Butter
- Egg yolk
Instructions
- From the specified number of ingredients, two biscuits are obtained! Today I made a norm - galette. Mix the oil with hot (almost boiling) with water.
- Sift flour with salt and baking powder into a bowl with water and oil. Knead the dough. Leave for half an hour to rest.
- While the dough is resting, prepare the filling: cut the onion into small cubes, peel the apples and cut them too. Fry the onion in butter, add the apples, put out for a couple of minutes so that they become soft. It's done. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- Half an hour passed. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet (in the form of a circle with a diameter of about 30-40 cm). There is no need to lubricate the baking sheet - there is enough oil in the dough.
- We spread the apple-onion filling in the center, distribute the dough, leaving the edges a few centimeters free.
- Sprinkle the filling with cheese.
- Fold the free edges of the dough (folds) onto the filling, leaving only a small hole in the center open. Lubricate with yolk.
- Form a "conditional circle" from foil and cover the filling with it.
- Place in the oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the cookies are ready! Remove from the oven and leave for 10-15 minutes to cool slightly. And enjoy! Enjoy your meal!
