For a lean New year's treat, prepare mantu with mushroom filling. Dough with flour from durum wheat enriches the taste and makes the dish useful and dietary. And oil with herbs and garlic will give a delicious flavor. On non-fasting days, you can use butter or sour cream for the sauce.
For the stuffing, fry the mushrooms on 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, add the chopped onions, salt, pepper and turn off the stove after 5 minutes. The stuffing cools.
When there is no post, I add sour cream to the minced meat-1-2 tablespoons.
For the dough, mix water, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, 0.3 tsp. salt and durum flour. The dough should not stick to your hands. Leave the dough for half an hour.
Divide the dough into 8-10 parts and roll out into circles with a diameter of 15 cm. for rolling, it is more convenient to use ordinary wheat flour.
Spread the minced meat on the blanks of the dough and, lifting the edges up, pinch the dough.
The form of a steamer is greased with oil and put mantu in it. Cook for 30-40 minutes for a couple.
Mantu can be prepared in advance, covered with film and frozen for the future.
To serve, mix the remaining sunflower oil with chopped dill or parsley and crushed garlic. Salt to taste.
It will be very tasty if you add 50 grams of butter instead of vegetable oil. The oil should be mixed with herbs and garlic, frozen, and then put on hot manta.
You can also mix sour cream with herbs.
