I want to share with you another wonderful dish from Jamie Oliver. Delicious to the point of ugliness, and also very easy to prepare. Potatoes have a stunning composition of flavors, in a crisp crust, but inside-tender as a cloud.
I took new potatoes, so I didn't cut the skin, but just washed it thoroughly with a brush. If you have "old" potatoes, peel them. You don't need to cut it into pieces. Then pour water and boil over high heat after boiling for 7-8 minutes.
Toss in a colander. Dry with a napkin. Season with salt and pepper.
In the form (I covered it with foil), pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil (if desired, you can replace it with butter), roll the potatoes in it a little.
Put the potatoes in a single layer, send them to the preheated oven (200 gr.) for 30 minutes.
Prepare our aromatic spice mix. Take fresh or dry rosemary, basil and other herbs at your discretion, pour in a tablespoon of vinegar and a tablespoon of olive oil, stir. Add the bay leaf and garlic cloves. Garlic from the skin is not cleaned!
After 30 minutes, remove the potatoes. An interesting point: take a mashed potato masher and lightly press on each potato so that it is slightly kneaded. Then pour the fragrant mixture and send it back to the oven for 20-25 minutes.
We take the potatoes out of the oven, marveling at the wonderful aroma and beautiful, ruddy crust!
