Sangria, along with ham and paaia is the hallmark of Spanish cuisine, the drink, the most used in hot weather. There is nothing nicer than sitting on the terrace in a hot afternoon and drinking a cool fragrant sangria.
Sangria is prepared on the basis of a good red grape wine with citrus, sugar, cinnamon and mineral water. In different regions of Spain have their own recipes: add fruit (kiwi, peach), make white sangria.
Peel the peach, cut the orange with the zest, cut the zest from the lemon and squeeze the juice.
Prepared fruits put in a jug, add the juice and lemon zest, sugar, cognac, cinnamon.
Fill with chilled wine, a wooden spatula slightly squeeze the juice from the fruit, add water and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Store longer ready sangria is not recommended, as the juice under the influence of alcohol begins to ferment and the taste of the drink deteriorates.
