Cut the red onion into thin half-rings, add salt, sugar, vinegar and set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
Since this is a layered salad, it is better to take a split form for serving or make a portion feed using a cooking ring.
Take a dish (plate) to serve, put the cooking ring. Squeeze the onion and put it on the bottom. Next, finely dice the ham, I have chicken, and put it on top of the onion.
Grate the cucumber on a grater, put the ham on top and grease with mayonnaise.
Put the next layer of grated cheese.
Next, grated Apple, and again lubricate with mayonnaise.
Grate the egg with the top layer.
Carefully using the pusher to release the salad from the ring. Decorate with greens, I have celery. Serve the salad chilled.
