- Black rice is cooked for a long time, unlike ordinary rice. It should be prepared in advance and cooled, following the instructions on the package. Prepare all the products for the salad. I defrosted the broccoli, disassembled it into small inflorescences and boiled it for a couple of minutes. It remained bright green. Red onions should not be put in a salad. I put myself a very small onion, cut into thin half rings. Peel the nuts and chop them not very finely. It is better to take dried cranberries in a salad, it is sweeter.
- Put the boiled and cooled black rice, steamed broccoli, walnuts, cranberries and red onions in a salad bowl. Fill the dish with dressing. Gently mix honey with olive oil. If there is no liquid honey, it can be melted in a water bath. Add mustard. For this salad, I prefer French mustard with beans. You can take a regular one.
