Potato salad with mayonnaise is most common in Northern Germany. In the southern regions, instead of mayonnaise, vinaigrette sauce is used, prepared on the basis of vegetable oil and vinegar. These salads are very hearty, and what else can be better in the fall, they fully replace the second for lunch and dinner.
Potatoes (medium tubers) are well washed and put to cook in the "uniform".
It is better to take varieties that do not boil.
While cooking potatoes, prepare salad dressing.
Take mayonnaise with quail egg.
According to the original recipe for mayonnaise add sour cream, mustard, vinegar, freshly ground pepper mixture and salt.
Instead of vinegar I added the marinade from the cucumbers (from the mushrooms), although the acid in the dish are enough.
Salt in such dishes, too, do not put.
Ready potatoes immediately clean.
Cut the potatoes into circles.
Hot potatoes pour mayonnaise dressing. Stir.
Red onions cut into half rings, pickled cucumbers straw, mushrooms into halves or quarters.
Add mushrooms, cucumbers and onions to the potatoes.
Also add finely chopped any greens, I have cilantro, mix.
Hunting sausages fry on a grill pan.
I have mini sausages. If you have long sausages, then cut into 3-4 cm.
Potato salad put on a serving plate.
Put the sausages on top, sprinkle with freshly ground pepper mixture and serve immediately.
