Salad "Joy" Recipe
This delicious salad can be attributed to the original herring salads – many people like it even more than "Herring under a fur coat". The vegetables in the salad are in perfect harmony with the apple, and the salad turns out to be quite light, fresh and juicy.

  1. Cut the herring fillet into cubes.

  5. Chop the apple last, before placing it in a salad bowl, so as not to darken, or sprinkle with lemon juice if desired.

  6. Put the mayonnaise in a pastry bag. Lay the salad in layers. In a salad bowl, put the first layer of potatoes, smear with mayonnaise and salt, using half the salt.
