Potatoes clean, wash and cut into thin slices of about 3 mm.
From a jar of dried tomatoes take a spoonful of this incredibly fragrant oil and heat it in a saucepan or in a frying pan.
There we add finely chopped garlic, fry for just half a minute.
Pour the cream. Salt, pepper, add nutmeg. To reduce the caloric content of the dish, half of the cream can be replaced with milk.
And add potatoes. Stir and remove from heat after 3 minutes.
Sliced green onion, a few sun-dried tomatoes and cherry tomatoes.
In a baking dish, put potatoes in a circle, green onions and dried tomatoes on it.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Repeat the layers.
On the last layer spread the remaining green onions, sun-dried tomatoes and cherry. The remains of the cream from the saucepan pour on top. Bake in the oven for about 40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. Cover the mold with foil to prevent the top potato from drying out. When the potatoes are ready, sprinkle it with cheese and leave in the oven for a few minutes to brown.
