If you are tired of just fried liver or liver pate, you can prepare a delicious casserole with liver. This dish can be called a casserole, or a pie. The liver is baked in an omelet with the addition of boiled eggs, green peas and fresh dill. It turns out delicious!
I put all the food on the table. The
liver is washed in water, cleaned of films and fat. If the pieces are very large, you can cut them in half.
Fry the liver in a frying pan with the addition of sunflower oil. I add a little salt (taking into account that salt will also be added to the filling).
To achieve full readiness of the liver at this stage is not necessary. Fry until the blood stops being released and remove from the heat.
I clean the boiled eggs and cut each egg into 4 parts.
Dill is washed in water and crushed.
In a deep bowl, break 4 raw eggs. Add sour cream, starch, ground black pepper. Salt the filling to taste.
Beat the filling with a whisk until smooth.
I will bake in a silicone rectangular shape (21 by 11 cm). The sides of the form are slightly greased with vegetable oil (just in case).
At the bottom, pour 5-6 spoons of filling. I spread out half the pieces of liver. Sprinkle with half of the green peas.
Then I put half of the boiled eggs and sprinkle with half of the dill.
I fill the top fill to close the bulk of the products already laid out in the form.
Then I repeat all the steps, filling out the form to the top. I. e. it turns out 2 layers of each product. The fill should almost completely cover all products.
Put the casserole to bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 45 minutes. In the finished casserole, the middle should be dense.
You can serve the casserole both hot and cold. In my opinion, hot tastes better.
But to beautifully cut the casserole into pieces, it should be allowed to stand for 30 minutes after the oven.
