Apple Galette with Cinnamon and Poppy Seeds Recipe

  1. Separate the yolks from the whites. All you need is yolks.
  2. Sift flour into a cup, grate butter or margarine on a coarse grater. Grind into crumbs.
  3. Add yolks, sour cream, baking powder, sugar.
  4. Quickly knead the dough, wrap it in a bag, put it in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Cut the apples into thin slices.
  6. Add powdered sugar to the apples.
  7. Add poppy seeds and cinnamon. Mix it.
  8. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1-1.5 cm.
  9. Sprinkle with semolina and lay out the apples, retreating from the edges about 1-1. 5 cm.
  10. Fold the edges up slightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-190C for 35-40 minutes.
