Autumn – Apple time, time to bake Apple cupcakes, pies, strudels and Charlottes. Baking with apples is the simplest option from the available products, it always turns out delicious and juicy to the delight of all the family.
Prepare the ingredients for making a pie. Combine flour with baking powder, cinnamon and ground ginger and sift through a sieve.
Combine eggs with sugar and beat to a thick white foam.
Heat the milk and butter in the microwave until the butter softens, stir the mixture to cool and add to the beaten eggs.
Combine the liquid component with the dry components (flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, salt). If desired, you can add vanilla sugar to the dough.
Knead the dough, stirring it with a silicone spatula from the bottom up. Do not knead the dough for a long time, otherwise it will become heavy and dense.
Apples for pie preferably use soft, they are more plastic. Cut the fruit into quarters, remove the core with the seeds and cut into thin petals. Pour boiling water over the Apple slices for 1-2 minutes. Drain the water and let the apples dry.
Grease the baking dish with oil and sprinkle with a small amount of flour. Shake off excess flour. Put the prepared dough in the form.
Spread the Apple slices twisted into flowers on top. The remaining Apple slices are distributed around the flower blanks in any order.
Top the apples with a small amount of melted butter and sprinkle with cane sugar.
Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for about one hour. Check the baking readiness with a wooden splinter.
When serving, dust the cake with powdered sugar on top.
