Cauliflower, Baked with Sauce Recipe
An unusual way to serve your favorite vegetables. A variation on the theme of fried cabbage in batter, only baked. Potatoes with sauce will also "play" in a new way. Use any additional vegetables. Ingredients
Vegetables:
- 800 gram Cauliflower
- 4 pieces Potatoes
- 3 pieces Carrot
- 1 piece Bulgarian pepper
Sauce:
- 100 gram Butter
- 100 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 500 ml Milk
- 1 glass Broth
- 1 piece Bay leaf
- 0,5 teaspoon Paprika sweet
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning
- Hard cheese to taste
- Salt, black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the cabbage, put it in a saucepan with water and put it on fire. The stalk can be cut off, it cooks for a long time.
- Boil until soft on both sides, transfer to a sieve.
- Peel the potatoes, cut in half.
- Boil until almost ready.
- Lubricate the ceramic mold with any oil, sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- Put the cabbage in the center, potatoes on the edges.
- Cut the carrots into pieces and boil them like potatoes.
- For now, just chop the pepper.
- For the sauce, melt the butter in a clean frying pan.
- Pour flour into the butter.
- Keep on fire, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in the milk and sprinkle with spices. Keep on fire, stirring constantly.
- Pour in the vegetable broth, if required, and mash with a masher or blender to beat the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the cabbage and potatoes.
- Carrots and paprika can be hidden under the sauce. But I decided to decorate it from above. Or cherry tomatoes will look beautiful.
- Place in an electric oven preheated to 200 * c for 40 minutes. at the end, you can sprinkle with cheese and bake for a few minutes.
- The finished dish can be served directly in the form. Served for dinner or as a second course for a family dinner.
