Celery Salad with Tuna Recipe
This salad is an interesting combination of root and stem celery with tuna and pickled prunes. The juiciness of the salad is provided by a sour cream dressing, but it can be replaced, if preferred, with mayonnaise or Greek yogurt. The flavor bouquet is completed with nuts and chopped greens!

  1. Wash the prunes and pour boiling water over them. You can immediately cut it into strips if it is soft ( as here), or to soften it, place it in hot water for 15-20 minutes, and then use it to prepare a salad, or you can put it in a marinade for a more intense taste. To prepare it, pour Apple cider vinegar into a bowl, add lemon crusts (in the form of plates), 1 tbsp. of brown sugar and mix. Place the prunes in the marinade and leave for 20 minutes.

  2. Wash the celery root, peel it and grate it on a large grater. Wash and slice the celery stalks. Canned tuna (here - in its own juice) transfer from the jar and chop.

  3. Prunes get out of the marinade, let the liquid drain and cut into strips. Walnuts chop with a knife, or chop as desired. Wash the parsley, dry it and chop it finely. You can use other greens. Combine all the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper and add sour cream.
