Ingredients
Dough:
- 250 gram Cottage cheese
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 300 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 150 gram Butter
Filling:
- 250 gram Hard cheese
- 50 gram Cottage cheese
- 30 gram Butter
- 1 piece Egg white
- 1 piece Egg yolk for lubrication
Instructions
- Melt the butter and mix with cottage cheese, salt, sugar, egg and baking powder.
- Then add the sifted flour and knead a soft, elastic dough. Leave it to stand for 15 minutes.
- Prepare the filling. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater and mix it with egg white and soft butter.
- Divide the dough into two parts. One is slightly larger for the base, and the second is slightly smaller for the top.
- Grease the baking dish with butter. The diameter of my form is 22cm. Put most of the dough into the mold with your hands, forming the sides.
- Lay out the cheese filling, and spread the cottage cheese on top. Make a tortilla from the second part of the dough and cover the pie with it. Connect the edges. Pierce the top of the pie with a fork and brush with yolk.
- Bake the pie at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. Cool the pie to a warm state, remove from the mold and serve to the table.
