Ingredients
Dough:
- 500 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 100 gram Sugar
- 100 gram Butter
- 2 pieces Egg yolk
- 8 gram Vanilla sugar
- 250 milliliters Milk
- 7 gram Dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Filling №1:
- 100 gram Poppy seeds
- 130 milliliters Milk
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
Filling №4:
- 60 gram Marmalade green
- 130 gram Candied fruits kiwi
Instructions
- Pour boiling milk over the poppy seeds, stir, let stand for about 10 minutes, then reheat in a microwave oven. Mix the poppy seeds with the milk again and reheat in the microwave. So repeat several times.
- While the poppy is steaming, I prepare the dough. Pour warm milk into a bowl, add yolks, sugar, salt.
- Mix the ingredients in a bowl with a whisk.
- Sift flour into a bowl, add yeast and vanilla sugar, mix them with flour.
- Then add the lemon zest and butter to the bowl at room temperature.
- I knead the dough, cover it and let it rise in a warm place.
- Drain the excess milk from the steamed poppy seeds, mix with sugar, and grind with a blender.
- Cut the marmalade and candied fruits into small cubes.
- Mix the cubes. Another filling is ready!
- Grate the peeled carrots on a fine grater, mix with sugar.
- Chop walnuts, mix with sugar.
- When the dough has increased in volume by 2-3 times, squeeze it out.
- Sprinkle the table with flour. I divide the dough into 8 equal parts.
- I take one piece of dough, roll it out into a rectangle about 50 * 12 cm in size. We divide each filling into 2 parts, distribute it over the rolled rectangles of the dough.
- I roll the dough with the filling into a roll, pinch the edges.
- So, from each piece of dough I make a thin and long roll with stuffing.
- Lubricate the silicone mold with vegetable oil. I put the rolls with stuffing in the mold. I use a mold with a diameter of 22 cm.
- First we spread 4 rolls with different fillings.
- Then I spread out the other 4 rolls. So in the drawing on the section, it will not be possible to connect 2 rolls with one filling.
- Cover the mold and let the dough increase in size by about 1/3.
- Bake the pie in a preheated 180 degree oven for about an hour. 20 minutes after the start of baking, cover the cake pan with foil so that the top does not burn. I kept the pie in the oven a little too long, because it seemed that the pie was not ready yet.
- I take the pie out of the oven, put it on a plate and leave it to cool.
- The finished cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or icing.
- Enjoy Your meal!
