Ingredients
Shawarma:
- 600 gram Turkey
- 1 pack bacon
- 2 pieces Zucchini
- 1 piece Bulgarian pepper
- 1 piece Onion
- 50 gram Dried tomatoes
- 1 pack Pita Bread
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 bunch Lettuce / Lettuce (leaves)
The marinade for the Turkey:
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning for chicken
Cream sauce:
- 300 ml Cream (33%)
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 25 gram Cheese hard
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper ground
Instructions
- For cooking kebabs I used a fillet of a Turkey drumstick. For the marinade, mix soy sauce, lemon juice and chicken seasoning. Marinate the leg fillet for 1-2 hours.
- Then transfer to the grill and cook on the grill.
- Spread the bacon on the grill and fry until Golden on the grill.
- Wash the zucchini and peel it. Cut into plates, brush them with olive oil and salt. Spread on the grill and fry on the grill.
- For the sauce, peel the garlic, wash it, and cut it into thin slices. Fry in olive oil for 1 min.
- Pour in the cream and boil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
- Then add the cheese, grated on a coarse grater, salt and ground pepper, and mix. After 2 min. remove from heat. You can put the sauce in a jar and take it with you.
- Peel the onion, wash it, and cut it into thin half-rings. Cut the zucchini into strips.
- Wash the pepper and remove the seeds. Cut into thin strips using a vegetable peeler.
- Cut the sun-dried tomatoes.
- Cut the Turkey fillet into strips.
- Mix the Turkey, onion and sauce.
- Pita bread cut into several parts, form them into bags. Then, in random order, arrange the washed lettuce leaves, Turkey with onions in sauce, zucchini, pepper, sun-dried tomatoes and bacon.
- Shawarma is ready.
