- Add flour mixed with baking powder and ground nuts to this mass. If there are no nuts, it's okay, you can just add a spoonful of flour. For apple baking, I use baking powder for gingerbread, it gives a spicy flavor, and the dough turns out darker than usual. Of course, you can also use a regular baking powder. Mix thoroughly with a spatula.
