Ingredients
- 8 slices Bread or any stale bread, bun, muffin
- 50-70 gram Butter
- 2-3 pieces Chicken eggs
- 200 gram Sour cream
- 70 gram Jam I have black currant jam
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Starch
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla sugar
Instructions
- Cut the stale loaf into slices. Spread half generously with butter, and the other half with jam (I have currant, but you can orange or apricot). Place the bread in a baking dish with a ladder so that one piece fits on top of the other. I pre-greased the mold with vegetable oil and sprinkled with flour.
- Now prepare the sauce. Beat the eggs with sugar. Add sour cream, starch, vanilla sugar.
- Grease the bread with sauce. We put it in the oven at a temperature of 170 degrees. 20 minutes. After a couple of minutes, increase the temperature for browning.
- Enjoy your tea!
