Here is a delicious cake recipe found on the Internet. This cake I baked yesterday for a festive tea party. In the recipe for the cake "Honey", when preparing the cream, egg yolks were just used. And I would also like to note that the recipe is simple and fast in terms of cooking time.

Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, add eggs (2 PCs.), add 60 gr. melted butter (cool to room temperature), liquid honey (3 tbsp. spoons) and sugar (200 gr.). beat the Mixture. Then put the mixture on a slow fire and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add the soda (1 teaspoon). The mass should increase by about 2 times when heated. Mix the mass well, then remove the saucepan from the heat, cool slightly and gradually pour in the entire portion of flour (500 gr.). knead the Dough well. If, in your opinion, the dough will be runny, you can add about 1 tablespoon of flour. BUT! too much flour should not be added, the dough will be soft, plastic and easy to work with.Divide the dough into 8 parts. Roll out each part of the dough on a silicone baking Mat or on a sheet of baking paper. To speed up the baking process, roll out the dough on 2 sheets of parchment or silicone mats, i.e. take out the ready-made cake from the oven and immediately send the next cake to the oven, etc. roll out the Cakes 2-3 mm thick. (approximately). The uneven edge of the baked cakes is cut off, the trimmings are crushed using a chopper.Bake the cakes in a preheated oven to t180-190. Cakes are baked very quickly, so you need to look through the viewing window in the oven in any case.

  2. Cream:In a bowl, beat the egg yolks (5 PCs.), add milk (500 ml.), add melted butter (cool to room temperature), add flour (50 gr.), add 150 gr. sugar, add 1 tsp. vanilla sugar. Beat the mixture and put it on medium heat, bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a minimum and with constant stirring, boil the cream until thick. Then cover the cream with cling film and cool to room temperature. To speed up the process, you can take the cream out into the cold. Next, grease the cakes with the prepared cream, sprinkle with the prepared crumbs, and decorate the cake to taste. This recipe used shavings of a mixture of milk and white chocolate.
