Cheese Galette with Apple Recipe
Delicious, fragrant, with a golden crust and juicy apple filling, cottage cheese biscuits. A wonderful open pie is a great addition to tea. Ingredients
Dough:
- 250 gram Cottage cheese Fine-grained or coarse-grained, grated through a sieve
- 100 gram Butter Cold
- 1 piece Chicken egg
- 60 gram Sugar
- 250 gram Flour wheat / Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- Vanilin to taste
Additionally:
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 0,5 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 piece Chicken egg
Instructions
- Mix flour with baking powder. Add the sliced butter and rub into the crumbs with your hands.
- Add cottage cheese, vanilla and sugar, mix.
- Add the egg, knead the soft dough, adding flour if necessary. Knead the dough for a long time.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- While the dough is resting in the refrigerator, let's do the filling. Wash the apples, peel and core, cut into squares. Melt butter in a frying pan, add apples and sugar. Cook, stirring, until the liquid evaporates (about 7 minutes).
- Divide the dough into 3 parts. Sprinkling the table with flour, roll out each part into a layer at least 5 mm wide, as the finished biscuit may break if it is thin. In the center, not reaching the edge of the cake 5 cm, put 1/3 of the filling.
- Wrap the edges of the dough overlap.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to sprinkle the galette.
- We transfer the galette to a baking sheet covered with parchment. Brush them with egg and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake the galette in a preheated 180 degree oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
