Ingredients
Chicken:
- 1200 gram Chicken
Marinade:
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 piece Bouillon cube I have 1 tsp dry vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 50 gram Mustard
- 50 ml Olive oil
- 35 ml Lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Lemon zest
- 200 ml Water
- 0,5 teaspoon Oregano
- 40 gram Honey
- Black pepper to taste
Garnish:
- 6 pieces Potatoes
- 4 tablespoons Olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into portions. I got 6 large pieces without white meat. Measure and weigh the ingredients for the marinade in advance.
- Put all the ingredients for the marinade in a blender and beat until smooth.
- Fill the chicken with marinade and "massage" each piece so that it is well soaked with marinade.
- Put the chicken and the whole marinade in a container with a lid and send it to the refrigerator for a couple of hours, and ideally for a day.
- Wash the potatoes well with a brush, dry and cut into 6 slices each.
- Heat the oil well in a frying pan and fry the potatoes in it until golden brown. Cover the form with baking paper (optional) and lay out the potatoes.
- Put the chicken on top and pour the remaining marinade evenly over it.
- Bake in a preheated 200 * C oven for 45 minutes with foil and another 30-45 minutes without foil.
- Zajiki sauce is perfect for this dish, which will be the perfect match for it! Serve, invite guests exhausted by the aroma and expectation home and get a bunch of compliments!
