Lean Burger with a Patty made of lentils and guacamole. In the post, it is especially important to add more vegetable protein to your diet. One of the leaders in its content is lentils. This is a great product, from it you can cook a lot of very different dishes. For example, today I want to offer you to try lentil cutlets. And in order to make the dish more satisfying and interesting, I suggest using these cutlets in an unusual lean Burger. As an accompaniment for lentils, I chose one of my favorite sauces - guacamole. It refreshes the dish and makes it juicy. In lentil cutlets, I added potatoes for better stickiness and curry for the flavor and taste of the East. All this together resulted in a very tasty Lenten Burger!
Lentils pour water and put on fire. When the water boils, reduce the heat and cook for 10 minutes. As a result, you should get almost completely ready, not boiled lentils. Peel potatoes, cut into large cubes and boil until tender in salted water.
Half of the onions cut into small cubes, peel carrots and grate on a medium grater. Fry the vegetables in oil until Golden, then stew for a couple of minutes.
Mix potatoes, lentils, onions and carrots.
Add salt, red pepper and curry. Stir.
To form from the resulting minced flat meatballs and lightly roll them in flour. It turns out 5-6 cutlets.
Fry the cutlets in olive oil, over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until Golden brown.
Prepare the guacamole. Peel the avocado and grind its pulp into a puree. You can do it with a fork, if the fruit is very ripe or with a blender. I love when in guacamole felt small pieces, so not much grind. Cut the red onion very finely and mix with avocado puree.
In the sauce, add finely chopped parsley, olive oil, lemon juice and salt. Stir and guacamole is ready. The main thing is not to manage to eat it all while trying.
Buns cut in half, lightly sprinkle with olive oil and fry in a pan until lightly browned.
Making a Burger. On one half of the bun spread the sauce guacamole and distribute it over the entire surface.
Spread on top of 2 cutlets.
Then finely shredded cabbage. Cover the second half of the bun and serve until they have cooled. In the Burger, you can also add other vegetables, such as tomatoes. Outside the post, you can add cheese, for example, tender mozzarella. If you put it on the still warm cakes, it will melt slightly and get a very tasty!
