Marinated Meat with Lecho in Bulgarian Recipe

Marinated soft meat with rice under thick tomato sauce and slices of juicy and sweet bell pepper. The dish has a unique taste and excellent aroma.

  1. Cut the prepared meat pulp into portions and put it in a bowl.
  2. Add 1/3 of the Echo jar and mix well. Set the meat marinating bowl aside for 30 minutes. If possible, put the bowl in the refrigerator.
  3. Rinse the rice and boil it in salted water until it is half cooked. Then drain the water.
  4. Turn the oven on 180*C. In the baking dish, evenly distribute the rice.
  5. Pour the marinade over the marinated meat.
  6. Mix the meat with rice.
  7. Then spread the remaining cake on the molds. Place the baking dish on a baking sheet and cover with foil on top. Place the baking sheet in the oven. After 45 minutes, try the meat for readiness.
  8. If the rice has absorbed all the liquid, and the meat is not ready, you can add a spicy mixture: water mixed with sour cream, seasoning and salt. If desired, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup. After adding the liquid, mix gently. Place the baking sheet in the oven until the meat is fully cooked.
  9. The finished dish can be decorated with melted cheese and cherry tomatoes. Enjoy your meal!t
