One of the main dishes of South America. Arroz con leche - literally translated as rice with milk, but it is not just rice porridge. This dish has become our favorite on our trip to Chile and Peru. It is necessary to prepare either yourself, or buy on the street at his aunts (but then the question of sanitary conditions). So if you miss this dish, as well as we do - catch the recipe.

Prepare all the ingredients.
First of all, wash the rice.
The recipe for the measure to take a glass. I have a glass of 250 ml. Wash orange. Peel it off. The skin should be boiled 3 times to remove all the bitterness. I poured boiling water 3 times.
In a saucepan pour 5 cups of water - 1l and 250 ml, add cloves (3-5 PCs), 2 sticks of cinnamon and orange peel. Boil.
When the water is boiling - add the rice. Reduce the heat and cook for about 30 minutes until all the liquid evaporates.
When all the moisture has evaporated, get the orange peel, cinnamon and cloves.
Pour a jar of concentrated milk. stir.
Then add condensed milk ( recipe on this quantity add 2 cans of condensed milk, they love sweets, but sometimes the food so sweet, which reduces the teeth) - I put a little more than half a packet of condensed milk (in the first photo).
Next, add vanilla and raisins. Stir. Turn off the heat.
The dish is ready. Most often porridge (dessert) sprinkle with cinnamon. Sometimes put 3-4 tablespoons of jam, but then just stick together)
