Burger with Brie Cheese and Cherry-Orange Sauce Recipe
My family loves homemade burgers, so I often experiment with them. This time I wanted to cook a delicious, unusual sandwich, which will be enjoyed not only by the male half, but also please the girls. The highlight of this Burger is the sauce. It turns out very tasty and is ideal for "noble" cheese and juicy beef. It has a light sweetness and acidity. This sauce can also be used for a cheese plate and grilled meat.
The first step is to prepare the cherry sauce. From cherries, we get the bones. In winter you can use frozen cherries, the first of its thaw and drain juice.
In the form put baking paper or parchment, spread the cherries in one layer and bake at 220C for 20 minutes.
From extracted orange juice by using the juicer.
In a saucepan, melt the butter, add the orange juice and simmer for 7-10 minutes. Add cherries, sugar, cinnamon and keep on low heat for another 2-3 minutes.
In cherry juice we breed starch. Instead of cherry juice, you can use wine. Add to a saucepan, simmer for a couple of minutes, stirring.
Give the sauce a little cool and thicken.
Minced salt, pepper, add the egg and thyme leaves. Knead the minced meat with your hands.
Formed of large flat patties. Fry in a pan with oil for 5 minutes on each side.
Cheese brie cut into thin slices, onion half rings, wash and dry the lettuce leaves. For this Burger is also perfect arugula. I use onions because I want to get it sharp. For those who are not particularly fan of raw onions you can use white, softer onion. Cut the Burger bun into two halves, sprinkle with oil and fry in a dry pan or grill.
Forming a Burger. On a bun, put a leaf of lettuce, then finish the Burger. Pour it 1 tablespoon of sauce, put the onion on top.
Spread the brie cheese and 1-2 tablespoons of sauce. Close the second half of the rolls or put it next.
