In some regions of Germany, a mushroom dish is a mandatory element of a Christmas dinner or lunch. Mushrooms, according to legend, are the key to a joyful future. A portion of fried mushrooms with onions, seasoned with white sauce with garlic, can be eaten at Christmas markets in Germany. I suggest you cook something similar at home. Preference is given to champignons with a brown crust - they are, according to experts, more fragrant. Mushrooms are served with a sauce made from sour cream, yogurt, cream, garlic, a bunch of finely chopped fresh herbs. You can add a little lemon juice.
For the sauce, mix yogurt, cream, sour cream.
Add salt to taste and ground black pepper.
Add finely chopped greens.
Finely chop the garlic or squeeze it through a press.
Mix the sauce well with a fork or whisk.
You can close the lid and put it in the refrigerator.
Mushrooms are not washed, the film is not removed.
Clean the mushrooms with a paper napkin. Cut the legs (I used them in the soup).
Cut the large one into four parts, the small one in half.
Fry the mushrooms in preheated vegetable oil for about 4-5 minutes.
Add chopped onion and garlic, red hot pepper.
Fry for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly.
If you add dry spices, you need to fry for a few more minutes.
