- If the peppers are put in the freezer, at least for 2 hours or overnight, then after defrosting they will become soft and plastic. I don't have frozen pepper in the photo, but I advise you to freeze it, it will taste better this way. We cut off the top of the peppers, peel them from the seeds and put them in the freezer.
